COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (B.Ed.CET) 2012
for admission into
THE NCTE RECOGNIZED B.Ed. COURSE
Application in prescribed forms are invited from eligible Graduates for appearing in the Common Entrance Test (B.Ed.CET) 2012 for admission to the B.Ed. Course under Dibrugarh University scheduled to be held on 03.06.2012.
Eligibility: Graduates of Dibrugarh University or any other University recognized by Dibrugarh University in the 10+2+3(TDC) pattern in Arts/Science/Commerce stream with
1. At least 50% marks in Major or in aggregate at the Bachelor Degree.
2. A relaxation of 5% marks to the teacher candidates with minimum of five years teaching experience in a school recognized up to 10th standard by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam.
3. A relaxation of 5% marks for SC, ST, OBC/MOBC and candidates with physical disabilities.
4. Candidates who have appeared in the Degree final examination are eligible for appearing in the B.Ed.CET provided that admission of such candidates shall be considered as per norms only if the degree results are declared by 29.07.2012.
Application form along with the Information Brochure can be obtained from the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University from 27.04.2012 to 15.05.2012 on payment of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred) only in the University Cash Counter or from the Office of the Principal of the B.Ed. Colleges under Dibrugarh University on payment of Rs.100/- (One Hundred) only. Request for supply of forms by post must be accompanied by a self-addressed stamped (of Rs.5/-) envelope of 11cm x 24cms size only along with a Bank Draft of Rs.100/- (One Hundred) only to be drawn in favour of “REGISTRAR, DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY” in STATE BANK OF INDIA, DIBRUGARH UNIVERSITY BRANCH (Code No. 2051).
Last date for submission of completed forms along with all necessary testimonials to the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University or any of the B.Ed. CET Centres is 15.05.2012.
The University authorities will however not be responsible for non-delivery/late delivery of forms sent by post. Duly filled in Application forms downloaded from the website http://dibru.ac.in should be accompanied by a bank draft of Rs.100/- (One Hundred) only along with the prescribed examination fees and particulars mentioned above.
