IICPT Test 2012
The Indian Institute of Crop Processing Technology (IICPT), Thanjavur, under the Union government, has invited applications for an entrance test to be held on June 17 in selected cities for admission to B.Tech:, M.Tech. and Ph.D. programmes in food processing engineering.
Those who have passed Plus Two with good marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are eligible for admission to the B.Tech. course in food process engineering. For the M.Tech. programme, the applicant should have passed the B.Tech. course with at least 70 per cent marks in aggregate, and for Ph.D., the M.Tech. course with 70 per cent marks in disciplines such as food processing engineering, agricultural engineering, and food science and technology with proven knowledge in mathematics.

The application fee is Rs. 500 (Rs. 250 for those belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes).
The filled applications, along with documents, should be sent to the Director, IICPT, Thanjavur - 612 005 so as to reach on the addressee or before May 31.
