MBA Travel and Tourism
The two year full-time MBA (Travel & Tourism) equip the students with management skills and professionalism to suit the requirements of tourism industry and the service sector. The programme consists of four semesters of six months each, spread across two years. The course integrates an academic knowledge of management studies with its applications in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry. Those who are interested can specialise in Travel and Tour operations, Hospitality or Systems. Add on international certificates in German & French and hands on experience in organizing international events are the specialities of the programme. The course is affiliated to University of Kerala and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)
Admission Requirements
The candidates must have completed a valid and recognized Graduate degree program in any discipline and should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Those who appear for the final year examination can also apply. Age must not exceed 30 years. He or she should be of amicable nature, and should be willing to travel, meet people and work in a service and customer-oriented industry. The applicant should possess good communication and presentation skills and excellent command of English language.
Admission Procedure
Admission to the MBA programme is based on MAT/CMAT score (Management Aptitude Test of AIMA and AICTE), group discussion and personal interview. Candidates who have taken the MAT/CMAT test may apply with their valid scores and other relevant certificates. Those who wish to appear for the MAT/CMAT may obtain further details from www.aima-ind.org and www.aicte-cmat.in. The application form and prospectus can be obtained by remitting Rs. 400/- at the office of KITTS or at Union Bank (Thycaud branch), Near Hindi Prachar Sabha, Vazuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram. The same can be obtained by post by sending a DD for Rs. 450/- drawn in favour of Director KITTS payable at Thiruvananthapuram to the following address.

Eligible candidates will be called for Group Discussion and personal interview to be held at KITTS, Thiruvananthapuram.
The fee per semester is Rs. 30,000/-, to be paid before the commencement of each semester. A refundable caution deposit of Rs.1000/- has to be paid at the time of admission.
Post Graduate Diploma in Tour Operations
The Post Graduate Diploma in Tour Operations is designed based on the specific requirements of the travel and tour operating agencies in India. The course also provides opportunity for getting trained either in the Tourist Information Offices of Department of Tourism or with leading tour operators and travel agencies in the country. The course is offered at the study centres of KITTS in Ernakulam and Thalassery. Duration of the course is one year (6 months class room sessions and 6 months training). Admission is based on Test/Personal interview. The course fee is Rs.30,000/-
Eligibility: Graduate in any subject with minimum 45% marks
