Eligibility for Admission to the Post-Graduate Degree Courses
Minimum eligibility criteria for seeking admission to all the PG courses, in general, shall be a pass in the qualifying examination with 45% (40% for SC / ST / Cat-I candidates) of marks in respective subjects / papers in aggregate or aggregate of all the subjects / papers (excluding Basic / *Common subjects) and other conditions hereinafter prescribed.

The application forms with details may be obtained:
a) In person from State Bank of India or Syndicate Bank, Karnatak University Campus, Dharwad, by remitting Rs. 400/- (Rs.200/- SC/ST/C-I) between 11.00 am & 3.00 pm on working days (on Saturday 11.00 am to 2.30 pm).
b) By Post: From Director, Prasaranga, Karnatak University, Dharwad-580 003 on payment of Rs.500/- (Rs.300/- for SC / ST / C-I) (including Rs.100/- towards postage & service charges) through DD drawn in favour of 'The Finance Officer, Karnatak University, Dharwad' payable at Dharwad along with a self addressed envelope (A4 size) super scribing 'APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO________________ (specify the course/s)'
c) Website: Download the application form from the website www.kud.ac.in and submit the duly filled-in form along with DD for Rs. 400/- (Rs. 200/- for SC / ST / C-I) drawn in favour of 'The Finance Officer, Karnatak University, Dharwad' payable at Dharwad.
Submission of application forms:
Duly completed application forms to the courses like -
(a) PG Degree Courses in Arts, Commerce, Social Sciences & Science Faculties
(b) PG Diploma / Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Certificate Courses for studying either at the Main Campus or PG Centres; or for PG courses under University quota at Affiliated colleges shall be submitted to the concerned Chairpersons of the PG Departments, Karnatak University, Dharwad - 580 003.
Last date for receipt of duly filled application forms: Before Five days from the date of Entrance Test (refer the website for entrance test dates)
Last date for receipt of duly filled PGDiploma / Diploma / Advance Diploma / Certificate Courses application forms (Except IDIRHEM / PGDCA): 31.07.2012
