Six months residential training program in Cell Site Maintenance offered by NTTF with technical support
from Indus Towers. The telecom industry is growing rapidly and this training is well suited to make the candidates ready for the maintenance of telecom towers (referred to as cell site).The program assures employment for successful candidates.
Course Outline:
The program aims at building vocational skills for the telecom industry, focusing on the operation and
maintenance of cell sites all over India. During the program, participants will learn the fundamentals of electrical, electronics and mechanical equipment used in a cell site. Also, the course would include fundamentals of civil structures, basic spoken English and 2-wheeler driving. At the end of the program, successful candidates will be ready to perform the role of a cellsite maintenance technician.

Eligibility: Min HSC / Diploma Pass
Age: 18-23 years as on 1 August 2012
Course Duration:
Total 6 months, including 4 months at an NTTF training center and 2 months of on the job training (OJT) as trainee with a business partner of Indus Towers. During the 2 months OJT, candidates will be paid a stipend ranging from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 4,000 per month.
Appointment:
After successful completion of apprenticeship, Indus Towers will help in the placement of candidates as a regular employee with its business partners offering a gross salary of Rs. 8,000 (Rupees eight thousand) per month. All efforts will be made to offer appointment in the home state of the candidate wherever possible.
Admission Procedure:
1. Application Form: Complete the attached application form. The form can also be downloaded from
www.nttftrg.com/cpcm.html
2. Selection: Through an Entrance Test. Candidates would need to register for the Entrance Test to be held on 15 July, 2012 between 9 am to 1 pm at Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kolkata, Murbad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Bangalore, Dharwad, Gannavaram, Cochin, Tellechery, Hyderabad, Tuticorin, Chennai Jamshedpur & Coimbatore (The test centers may change based on the number of applications for a given center. In such cases, the candidates will be accommodated at the nearest test center).
Approximately 400 seats spread across 12 states.
3. Registration Fee : for Entrance Test: Remit a fee of Rs. 200 (Rupees Two Hundred) at the nearest State Bank of India branch in the name of NTTF Bangalore, Account number 31421551653 & collect the fee challan from the bank. You could also pay through a DD in the Name of NTTF Bangalore for Rs 200, payable at Bangalore.
4. Process of Registration for Entrance Test:
Registration for the Entrance Test is a must on or before 15 July, 2012. On
registration, you will be provided a Registration Number and the address for your Entrance Test center. You can register through telephone, by email , by post / courier or in person, as follows:
a. By Telephone: Toll Free 1800-120-8888 from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm between Monday to Friday.. OR
b. By Email: Write to cpcmadm@nttf.co.in clearly stating your name, address & phone number ..…OR
c. By Post / Courier: Send the filled application form with 3 passport size photographs along with the Registration Fee
Demand Draft / Bank Challan using the envelope provided to: NTTF Electronics Centre , #40/40A, Electronics City, Hosur Road,

Bangalore-560100. Please ensure the Post / Courier reaches NTTF on or before 10 July 2012. Please carry a photocopy of the Bank
Challan / DD and Application Form with you for the Entrance Test.
d. In Person on 15th July 2012: You may reach the Entrance Test center of your choice and register on the spot.

5. Entrance Test Date & Time:
15 July, 2012; 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Address details of the Entrance Test Centre will be
provided at the Registration and also be communicated by SMS.
6. Documents to carry for the Entrance Test:
In addition to the duly filled Application Form
3 Passport Size Photographs
Bank Challan or DD for Rs. 200
Copy of age proof and the highest educational qualification certificate
7. Selection:Based on the Entrance Test, a district wise Merit List will be announced

months. Hostel facility is available for desiring candidates.

9. On the Job Training:On completion of 4 months of institutional training, candidates will undergo on the job
training with an agency nominated by Indus Towers. Efforts would be made to organize this in the home state of the candidate. During the 2 months OJT, candidates will be paid a stipend ranging from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 4,000 per
month.

11. Program Fee: The fee structure for the program is as detailed below:
Fee Payment Schedule :
Payment of fees will need to be made as per the following schedule:
1 installment of 20,000/- to be paid on or before start of the course. i.e. on or before 1 August 2012
2 installment of 20,000/- / 10,000/- to be paid at the beginning of 3 month of the course
Course Completion Certificate:
Upon successful completion of Course (4 months institutional and 2 months of OJT)
candidates will be conferred with a Certificate in Cell Site Maintenance
*Number of candidates selected for a district will depend on the number of vacancies existing / expected over the next year
