ADMISSIONS 2012-2013 (M. Pharm/ B.Pharm/ D.Pharm)


M. Pharm

A Candidate who has passed B. Pharm degree examination of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, or B. Pharm examination of any other Indian University established by law in India or any other degree course in Pharmacy recognized as equivalent by RGUHS or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), All Indian Council of Technical Education (AICTE) for this purpose and who has secured not less than 55% of the maximum marks (aggregate of 4 Years) prescribed for the qualifying examination shall be eligible for admission to M. Pharm course.

Duration of the course

The course study including submission of a dissertation on the research project assigned shall be of 24 months (2 years) duration from the commencement of academic term.

B. Pharm

A Candidate who have passed two year P.U.C. Examination of Karnataka P.U.C. Board or an equivalent examination (10+2) of any other approved Board or University with minimum 50% marks in any combination comprising P.C.M. or P.C.B. (Minimum eligibility should be based on the aggregate of P.C.M. or P.C.B.) whichever is higher shall be considered for the purpose of admission. 

In the case of student belonging to SC/ST, Group-A, the minimum requirement in percentage of marks for the admission to B. Pharm course shall be 40% in combination.

OR

Final D. Pharm examination conducted by an authority approved by the Pharmacy Council of India with a minimum of 60% of aggregate marks in the first and the Final D. Pharm examinations.

Note:  In respect to candidates who have taken P.C.M.B. combination the aggregate of marks will be considered.

Duration of the course

The course of study for B. Pharm shall extend over a period of four academic years. The curricula and syllabi for the course shall be prescribed from time to time.

D.Pharm

Minimum Qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy, pass in any of the following examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics. 

1. Intermediate examination in Science 

2. 10+2 Examination (academic Stream) in Science 

3. Pre-degree examination 

4. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equal to any of the above examinations 

Duration of the Course

The duration of the course shall be for two academic years. With each academic year spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eight working days in addition to 500 hours practical training spread over a period of not less than three months.

Admission Procedure

The Application Form and prospectus can be obtained from the College Office on payment of cash Rs. 300/- or by post Rs. 350/- of a crossed D.D. drawn in favour "The Principal, Sree Siddaganga College of Pharmacy, B.H. Road , Tumkur -572 102". Duly filled application form should be submitted to the college office within the stipulated period.

While appearing for admission interview, kindly bring the following ORIGINAL documents and fee. 

10+2 mark sheet. 
10th mark sheet.
Transfer certificate from the school last studied. 
Migration certificate from the board. 
Character and conduct certificate. 
Certificate of Date of Birth.
3 copies of passport size photograph.
College annual fee: A crossed D.D. drawn in favour of "The PRINCIPAL, SREE SIDDAGANGA COLLAGE OF PHARMACY, TUMKUR." Payable at TUMKUR from any Nationalised Bank.
Development fee-A crossed D.D. drawn in the favour of “Dr. SREE SREE SHIVA KUMARA SWAMIJI, SREE SIDDAGANGA MUTT, TUMKUR." Payable at TUMKUR. 

For admission the candidate himself / herself or accompained by his / her parent / guardian meet the principal directly in the collage office with the above said document.

Selected candidates can confirm their seats by depositing the prescribed collage fee and original document in the office.
