Application
is invited from the qualified students to join the M Tech, Nanoscience and
Technology conducted by the Department of Nanoscience & Technology,
University of Calicut.
Department
of Nanoscience & Technology, a University Department situated on the main
campus of the University of Calicut, is offering M.Tech program in Nanoscience
& Technology. The M.Tech course is programmed in the semester pattern with
research oriented elective papers and project work. This programme comes under
the Faculty of Science.

Duration : Four Semesters
Intake : 10 (3 reservation seats and 7 open
seats)
Eligibility for Admission : M.Sc. in Nanoscience &
Technology /Physics / Applied Physics /Materials Science/ Chemistry or Applied
Chemistry or Polymer Chemistry. A Minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the
qualifying examination is essential for the eligibility for admission to this
course. Those awaiting results can also apply on the condition that their
admission will be subject to the result of the qualifying examination.
Admission procedure: Admission to this course will be
based on the marks secured in an entrance examination conducted by the
University among the eligible candidates.
Reservation: Out of the total 10 seats 2 seats
for SC/ST and one seat for OBC/OEC will be reserved.

students `250/-
Filled in applications along with
chalan receipt for fee remittance should reach the office of the Department at
the following address before 10th November 2012.

Mode of remittance: The candidates within the sate of
Kerala can remit the fees at the treasuries/ Janasevanakedras/State Bank of
Travancore. The Heads of Account for remittance at the treasuries are:

8443 – 00 – 106 PD account of University of Calicut - For Treasuries in
Malappuram District.
2.
8658 – 00 – 102 – 96(02), CUS - For Treasuries in other Districts of Kerala
Candidates
outside Kerala can draw a Demand Draft for the value of `500/- in favour of the
Finance Officer payable at SBT, Calicut University branch.
