Department of Commerce :- Admission to MIB-MHROD batch XIX (2013-2015) :- Admission Notice, Prospectus, Application Form

Applications are invited for Admission to the XIX batch of the following two fulltime two year (four semesters) professional degree programmes, beginning in July, 2013.

(1) Master of International Business (MIB)
(2) Master of Human Resource and Organisational Development (MHROD)

ELIGIBILITY
1. Passed Bachelor's Degree examination of the University of Delhi or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto in any discipline, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent thereto in the grading system. Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination may also apply provided they are able to produce their mark sheets before31st August, 2013.
2. Passed Common Admission Test (CAT) 2012 conducted by Indian Institute of Managements {11 Arts) with a minimum percentile of 80%.
3. Relaxations if any in the minimum eligibility in the qualifying examination & entrance test, for reserved category students will be as per University rules.

ADMISSION THROUGH CAT SCORE
Application form can be submitted without CAT Score followed by submission of CAT score card latest by January 21, 2013 failing which their applications will not be considered.

PLACEMENT
100% placement track record. Students of the previous batches have placed in leading organizations like Delloite, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd., Grail Research, HSBC, HCL, IBM Global Services, ICICI, Punj Lloyd Ltd., TCS, Tata Taleservices, US Technologies, etc. The average salary  8.1 lacs and highest  9.8 lacs.

HOW TO APPLY
The Prospectus and Application form (i) can be obtained in person against a Bank Draft of Rs 2000 for General Category/CW/OBC and Rs 1300 for SC/ST/PH Category, drawn in favour of the Registrar, University of Delhi, from any Nationalised Bank, payable at Delhi.(ii)can also be downloaded from Website: www.commercedu.com    and http://www.du.ac.in  and submitted, by post or by hand, by paying the fees as mentioned above(iii) can be obtained by post from The Section Officer, Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, Delhi-1 10007 by adding Rs.l 00 to the fees mentioned above according to the respective category fee along with one self-addressed envelope (28cmsX22cms).(iv) Student can also apply online through http://docdse.admissionhelp.com  by adding Rs.l 50 as convenience charges to the application fees.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
A three-layered selection procedure, i.e., the CAT Percentile, the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview is followed for admission to both the programmes. This is done with a view to identify and process the interpersonal skills in addition to the overall knowledge of the students.
* The CAT Score: Students will have to submit CAT score after appearing in the Common Admission Test conducted by 11 Ms. The candidate has to apply separately for CAT 2012 to 11 Ms.
* Group Discussion and Interview: Only short-listed candidates on the basis of their CAT percentile are invited for GD and interview at the Department.
* The University/Department reserves the right to change the rules of Selection Procedure.

Numbers of seats for MIB/MHR0D is 73 (62+11) for each Program (General - 31,0BC -17, SC - 9, ST - 5 = 62). As per University rules, the seats for PH, CW, and foreign students categories are supernumerary. Over and above 62 seats, there are 11 seats (2 PH, 3 CW, and 6 FS seats = 11)
