MDS ADMISSION NOTICE 2014

Applications are solicited by The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Private Professional Colleges Association - Health Sciences, Prasanna Enclave, No: 30, Bharathi Avenue, (Near Kotturpuram Railway Station), Kotturpuram, Chennai 600 085 for admission for MDS Course degree (2014-15 session) in unaided Private Colleges in Tamil Nadu through Entrance Examinations.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Candidates should possess BDS Degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University or any other University recognized as Equivalent thereto by the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University and recognized by the Dental Council of India. Candidates who have qualified from other Universities should obtain and produce an Eligibility Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University at the time of admission failing which they will not be considered.

Candidates securing less than 50% of total marks in Other Communities and 40% of total marks in the reserved Communities (BC,BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST) will not be considered for Counselling.

APPLICATION FORMALITY AND ENTRANCE EXAMINATION:

The candidates should send a Demand Draft of Rs.2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) for Examination fee drawn in favour of  TNPPCA-HS payable at Chennai along with application form.

Application Form in original with necessary enclosures should reach: The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Private Professional Colleges Association - Health Sciences, Prasanna Enclave, No: 30, Bharathi Avenue, (Near Kotturpuram Railway Station), Kotturpuram, Chennai  600 085 on or before 21st June 2014 by 5.00 p.m.

Candidates must enclose only Photocopies of documents duly attested by a gazette

officer in the order as indicated below:

(a) BDS course completion certificate from the college where the candidate has undergone the coure.

(b) BDS Degree certificate or Provisional pass certificate from the University concerned.

(c) CRRI Completion certificate from the Dean / Head of the Institution (New Regulation for BDS).

(d) Final BDS Mark Sheets.

(e) Permanent Dental Registration certificate issued by the Dental Council of India / State.

(f) Community certificate from the competent authority indicating the community status of candidates belonging to BC / BCM / MBC / DC / SC / SCA. ST candidates should produce community certificates issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer.

(g) Attempt certificates in final BDS.

(h) Eligibility certificate from TamilNadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University for candidates who have qualified from other Universities, should be produced at the time of admission

(i) HSC / Equivalent Examination Mark Sheet.

The Entrance Examination will be conducted only at Chennai as Scheduled below:

Date of Examination- 25th June 2014 (Wednesday)

Time - 10.00 A.M to 12 Noon

Centre - Vels University, Velan Nagar, P.V.Vaidyalingam Road, Pallavaram, Chennai 600 117.
