M.G.R. Film and Television Institute, Chennai has invited applications for admission to the following 3 years Diploma Courses of Academic Year 2015-16.

1.  Diploma in Direction, Screenplay Writing and TV Production

2.  Diploma in Film Technology and TV Production (Cinematography)

3.  Diploma in Film Technology and TV Production (Sound Recording and Sound Engineering)

4.  Diploma in Film Editing and TV Production

5.  Diploma in Film Technology (Animation and Visual Effects)

6.  Diploma in Film Technology and TV Production (Digital Intermediate)

Eligibility for admission to the courses above can be referred from the website : www.tn.gov.in

Application forms with Prospectus can be obtained in person from the Principal, M.G.R. Govt Film and Television Institute, Tharamani, Chennai-600113 by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.200/- (for SC/ST Rs.60/- on production of copy of Community Certificate), drawn on any Nationalised Bank (dated 11-05-2015 onwards), in favour of ‘Principal, M.G.R. Govt. Film and Television Institute, Tharamani, Chennai-600 113’, payable at Chennai.

For availing the forms by post, candidates have to attach a self addressed envelope of size 30 cm x 25 cm, with postage stamp for Rs.30/- (for candidates belongs to chennai) and Rs.45/- (candidates outside chennai) affixed.

Application forms and Prospectus can also be downloaded from http://www.tn.gov.in and submitted along with Demand Draft for Rs.200/- (for SC/ST Rs.60/- on production of copy of Community Certificate).

Completed applications with the necessary documents should reach ‘Principal, M.G.R. Govt. Film and Television Institute, Tharamani, Chennai-600113’, latest by 5 pm on 10-06-2015.
