UG Admission Notice 2015 - CET 2015
Applications have been invited by National
Institute for the Orthopaedically Handicapped, (NIOH) B.T.Road, Bon-hooghly,
Kolkata-700 090 for admission to following courses of Academic Year 2015-16
through Common Entrance Test scheduled to be conducted on July 26, 2015.
(i)
Bachelor of Physiotherapy ( 4 Yrs. + 6 months Internship )
(ii)
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy ( 4 Yrs. + 6 months Internship )
(iii) Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics (4
Yrs.) (Internship as per RCI guidelines)
ELIGIBILITY CONDITION:
(1) AGE & DATE OF BIRTH
Minimum age of candidate 17 yrs at the time of
admission or will complete this age on 31st December 2015.
Maximum age of candidate – 21yrs of age on 31st
December 2015. (Age relaxation will be followed as per GOI norms applicable to
the reserved categories)
Date of birth as recorded in the Birth
certificate/Secondary Education Board Certificate (Class 10th) will be treated
as authentic. Candidates must produce original certificate for proof of age at
the time of counseling.
(2) NATIONALITY
The candidate should be an Indian National.
(3) ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:
Bachelor Physiotherapy:
10+2 (Higher/Senior Secondary Examination) Sc or
equivalent-recognized examination with subjects-Physics (P), Chemistry (C),
Biology (B) and English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken
together for General/OBC and 40% for SC/ST & PH candidates
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy:
10+2 (Higher/Senior Secondary Examination) Sc or
equivalent-recognized examination with subjects- Physics (P), Chemistry (C),
Biology (B) and English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken
together for General/OBC and 40% for SC/ST & PH candidates.
Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics:
10+2 (Higher/Senior Secondary Examination) Sc or
equivalent-recognized examination with subjects - Physics (P), Chemistry (C),
Biology(B) or Mathematics (M) and English with minimum aggregate of 40% in PCB
or PCM as per Rehabilitation Council of India norms.
