D.M/M.Ch. Degree Courses ADMISSIONS 2009-2010

Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai-600116, has invited applications for admission to the D.M/M.Ch. Degree Courses in the University for 2009-10.  The courses in Group A includes (i) D.M. Cardiology (ii) D.M. Neurology (iii) D.M. Nephrology and (iv) D.M. Medical Gastroenterology.

The Courses in Group B are (i) M.Ch. Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery (ii) M.Ch. Urology (iii) M.Ch Neuro Surgery (iv) M.Ch Surgical Gastroenterology (v) M.Ch. Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and (vi) M.Ch. Paediatric Surgery. The duration of the Course is 3 academic years.

Selection to Group-A and Group-B will be based on the marks obtained in an Entrance Examination to be conducted on All India basis from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m on 7.6.2009 (Sunday), at Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai - 600 116.

For Higher Speciality D.M. Degree Courses, the Entrance Examination will consist of 180 multiple choice questions (single best response) covering important aspects of the subjects prescribed for M.D. General Medicine and Paediatrics Degree Course.

For Higher Speciality M.Ch Degree Courses, the Entrance Examination will consist of 180 multiple choice questions (single best response) covering important aspects of the subjects prescribed for M.S. General Surgery Degree Course.

Applications can be obtained in person from the University on payment of RS.1000/- or by Post from the Registrar, by sending a requisition along with a Demand Draft for Rs.1,100/- drawn in favour of 'The Registrar, Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai', payable at Chennai.

Application form can be downloaded from the website and submitted along with required documents specified in the Prospectus and a Demand Draft for Rs.1,000/- drawn in favour of 'The Registrar, Sri Ramachandra University', payable at Chennai. Applicant should write the name of the Course Group applied for in the front page of the application form.

The last date for issue of forms and receipt of filled in forms is 15th May, 2009.
