Foundation Coures (Entry Level) Part-I
Paper I (100 Marks)
Section A:- Organization and Management Fundamentals (40 Marks)
Section B:- Accounting (60 Marks)
Total Questions:- 100 (Multiple Choice Questions)
Maximum Marks :- 100 ( Each Question will carry 1 Mark)
There will be no negative marking for wrong answer

Sunday, 24th June, 2012 02:00 P.M. To 04:00 P.M (After Noon Session)

Paper II (100 Marks)
Section A:- Economics and Business Fundamentals (50 Marks)
Section B:- Business Mathematics and Statistics Fundamentals (50 Marks)
Total Questions:- 100 (Multiple Choice Questions)
Maximum Marks :- 100 ( Each Question will carry 1 Mark)
There will be no negative marking for wrong answer

Application Forms for CAT Examination can be downloaded from Institute’s website www.icwai.org and filed online also.

Last date of receipt of Examination Application Forms without late fee is 20th April, 2012 and with late fee of `100/- is 30th April, 2012.

Examination Fees- Rs. 730/- (Seven Hundred Thirty)
Examination Fees to be paid through Bank Draft of requisite fees drawn in favour of “The Institute of Cost Accountants of India” payable at New Delhi.

Students will send their Examination Application Forms along with the fees to Directorate of CAT, The Institute of Cost Accountants of India “CMA Bhawan”, 3, Institutional Area, Lodi Road, New Delhi – 110003

A candidate who is fulfilling all conditions will only be allowed to appear for examination.

Examination Pattern for Foundation Course (Entry Level) Part-I
Examination shall have Multiple Choice Questions to be answered/marked in OMR answer sheets.

Standard of Pass
A Candidate of Entry Level shall be declared to have passed in the Examination if he secures minimum 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% of total marks.
