SAINTGITS offers M.Tech in the following subjects:

Eligibility:
Eligibility will be subject to the rules and regulations of Mahatma Gandhi University / AICTE:
The candidates should have studied in the Graduate course in an institution approved by the AICTE / Deemed Universities.
Candidate with:
Valid GATE score preferred.
The candidates shall have Degree in respective branches of engineering awarded by the Universities of Kerala, or equivalent.
Candidates should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the engineering degree examination. For SC/ST candidates, a pass in the above mentioned degrees is sufficient.
Non GATE candidates have to appear for a test/interview conducted by the concerned Department.
Candidates who have degrees awarded from Universities other than M G University shall submit Eligibility Certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University as well as Migration Certificate at the time of admission.
Candidates who have passed AMIE/ AMIETE examinations and satisfying the following conditions are eligible for admission:
They must have valid GATE score.
A minimum of 55% marks for section B in AMIE/ AMIETE examination.
Minimum three years of Professional experience in the field of specialization after acquiring the qualifying degree.
How to Apply
Application may be submitted in the prescribed form available at corporate office on payment of Rs.500/- by cash. Filled up application form and the self attested copies of the required documents are to be forwarded to the corporate office either in person or by post. The Application form can also be downloaded from this website. Please attach DD for Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) drawn in favour of SAINTGITS college of Engineering, payable at Kottayam along with the downloaded application form.
Admissions are strictly on merit
Procedure of Selection
Candidate must register their names online in the website of Director Technical Education, Trivandurm (www.dtekerala.gov.in) from 15th May 2012. DTE will prepare a rank list by considering the candidates GATE score/aggregate marks obtained upto 6th semester in the qualifying degree examination. Candidates qualified in ranking by DTE can submit applications to Saintgits before the date notified in the college website. Saintgits will publish a merit list based on the ranking by DTE, in which 50% of seats will be filled on merit observing the Reservation Rules as per G.O.(P) 208/66/Edn. Dated 02-05-1966, G.O.(M.S)95/08/SCSTDD dated 06-10-2008 and as modified from time to time by the Government. Balance 50% of seats will be filled by the Management from merit list drawn up by SAINTGITS
Those who want to apply under Govt Quota/Management Quota in SAINTGITS must apply both to Govt as well as to SAINTGITS

Criteria of Eligibility for Admission
The students entering MCA must have a
A pass in any recognized regular Bachelor's Degree course of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level
OR
A pass in any recognized Regular Bachelors Degree course of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the Subjects
OR
A pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from a recognized University"
Subject to the regulation relating to prescribed minimum of the respective qualifying examination, the minimum marks of admission to the course of studies shall be a pass in the case of SC/ST candidates.
Candidates belonging to Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) referred to GO(P)208/66/Edn dated. 2-5-96 and subsequent amendments to order issued by the Government shall be given a relaxation of 2% marks in the prescribed minimum for admission.
A relaxation of 5% marks from the prescribed minimum shall be allowed in the case of physically handicapped persons.
Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in more than one chance in the subject (excluding languages) will have their percentage marks derated at the rate of 5% for every additional appearance for the purpose of ranking.
Candidates with such degrees awarded by the Mahatma Gandhi University or any other degree recognized as equivalent to degrees in 1(a) by the Mahatma Gandhi University also are eligible to apply.
Must have qualified in the Entrance examination for MCA conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Govt. of Kerala.
