Central Institute of Tool Design is an ISO 9001:2008 certified premier Institute in Asia to provide specialized training in Tool Engineering, CAD/CAM & Mechatronics. The objective of the Institute is to meet the requirements of the Industries in the field of Tool Design & Manufacture and to train the technical personnel in these fields. The Institute was originally established in the year 1968 by the Govt. of India with the assistance of UNDP and ILO. Applications are invited in the prescribed form for admission into the following Long Term courses commencing from August 2012
01. MASTER OF TECHNOLOGY (M.TECH.)–Mechatronics-
(2 years / 4 semesters)-
25 seats (20 Self sponsored + 5 Industry sponsored)
(In Collaboration with JNTUH, Hyderabad. AICTE Approved)
Qualification : B.E. / B. Tech. (ECE/Mech/EEE/EIE/ Aeronautical Engineering) with 55% marks
Course fee : Self Sponsored – Rs. 33,500/- per semesterz Sponsored – Rs.42,000 per semester
Age : 45
Cost of Application : Rs. 800/- for general and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST category candidates and for PWD candidates fully exempted. However SC/ST/PWD category candidates need to enclose proof of their category duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.
Commencement of issue of Applications : 28.05.2012
Last date for submission of filled-in applications (upto 5.00pm at CITD) : 03.07.2012
Last date for submission of filled-in applications with late fee of Rs.500/- : 05.07.2012
Date of Entrance Examination : 09.07.2012 at 11.00 a.m. at JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad
MODE OF SELECTION:
Candidates under all categories will be selected based on the rank obtained in the Entrance examination.
HOW TO APPLY
Application form and prospectus can be obtained from Training Department, MSME Tool Room /Central Institute of Tool Design, Balanagar, Hyderabad – 500 037, on any working day between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM.(Weekly holiday on Sunday) by paying application cost prescribed by cash or a crossed demand draft drawn in favor of Principal Director , CITD, Hyderabad, on any Nationalized Bank, preferably on State Bank of Hyderabad, Balanagar Branch, Hyderabad – 37.
Application form can also be downloaded from our website www.citdindia.org and the filled in application forms can be sent to the Director (Trg), CITD, Hyderabad, along with prescribed application cost by way of Demand Draft drawn in favor of Principal Director, CITD, Hyderabad,
Candidates who wish to consider their application under sponsored category also, should submit the sponsoring letter and experience certificate along with the application. No age limit for sponsored category candidates. The candidates under sponsored category will be allotted seats strictly based on the rank obtained in the entrance examination subject to fulfilling the other criteria applicable to the category
Reservation for SC/ST/PWD quota exists as per Govt. of India norms.
