ISDS-Admission to JLS Courses-2012

Applications are invited for admission to 3 months  Junior Level Supervisory (JLS) training courses on
Processing of Jute for Sponsored and General (Non-sponsored) candidates:

JLS-2: JLS CERTFICATE COURSE IN SPINNING, TWISTING & WINDING, Intake-30
JLS-3: JLS CERTFICATE COURSE IN WEAVING PREPARATORY TO FINSHING, Intake-30
JLS-4: JLS CERTFICATE COURSE IN MAINTENANCE OF JUTE MACHINERY, Intake-30
 

Candidates who have already completed JLS-1 i. e. 3-MONTHS JUNIOR LEVEL SUPERVISORY COURSE IN SPINNING  PREPARATORY (SELECTION-BATCHING  TO DRAWING) may now apply for admission in JLS-2 without admission test and interview. Other candidates who have completed any other module of JLS 

course may now apply for direct admission to other JLS modules without admission test and interview)

Any candidates who will complete all the four modules of JLS courses one by one in due time , will get

a combined certificate of completion of one year JLS certificate course in Jute Technology(covering 

Spinning, -1, Spinning-2, Weaving to Sack-sewing /finishing and Maintenance of jute machinery ).  

Eligibility:  Pass in madhyamik, but pass in Class XII or Graduation with sponsorship will be preferred. 

Important Dates  : JLS Admission Form, Sponsoring Form and detailed  admission circular are available from 27th June to 8th July, 2012  from above said departmental  office or website www.caluniv.ac.in and  www.ijtindia.org .

Last date for Submission of application : 8th July 2012  with fee of Rs 500/- in cash (For SC/ST candidates : Rs. 250/-) ; 

Admission Test/Interview : 8th  July, 2012, 11-30 AM. 

Admission date : 9th  July, 2012 . 

Class Start : 9th  July, 2012. 

Placement Assistance will also be provided.  

Course Fee:  For all courses and all categories of candidates :  Rs. 7,000/- per JLS course of 3 months duration.  


 All  Candidates have to submit application in prescribed form available from departmental office or  website
