FOR ADMISSION TO MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BPTh/BOTh/B.Sc Nursing courses


The Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges (AMUMDC), Maharashtra will hold the All India Common Entrance Test (Asso CET 2009) for admission to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BPTh/BOTh/B.Sc Nursing courses, on 24th May, 2009 (Sunday) at Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nashik, Dhule, Jalgon, Ahmednagar, Sangli, Kolhapur, Solapur, Aurangabad, Latur, Nanded, Parbhani, Akola, Amravati and Nagpur, Delhi, Nioda, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kota, Indore, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Hyderabd, Bangalore and  Kolkata.
Availability of seats (provisional) are as follows: MBBS: 1070 in 11 colleges; BDS: 1780 (21 Colleges); BAMS: 1675 (34); B.PTh: 855 (24); B.O.Th: 60 (2); B.Sc Nursing: 1935 (44).

Applicant must have been born on or before 31.12.1992 and must have passed the HSC (10+2/Equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with 50% for Open category & 40% for reserved categories. Those appearing for the qualifying examinations in March 2009 are also eligible subject to their fulfilling the eligibility conditions later.

The CET will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions from Physics (5) Chemistry (50) and Biology (100). Correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. There is no negative marking.

Application forms and Information Brochure will be available at all Private Medical and Dental Colleges and other notified centres (to be displayed at www.amupmdc.org) from 1st March 2009 to 10th April, 2009 on payment of Rs.500/- by way of DD. It will be available at selected branches of Punjab National Bank on payment of Rs.500/- by cash. It can be obtained by Post from AMUPMDC office at Shreeji House, 75 Mint Road, Fort, Mumbai-400 001, by submitting an additional DD for Rs.200/- towards postal charges. Examination Fee is Rs.1500/- to be paid by way of DD. All DDs are to be taken in favour of 'AMUPMDC', payable at Mumbai.

The last date for submission of filled up applications is 10th April, 2009.
It can be submitted with a late fee of Rs.500/- till 15th April, 2009.
