B.Tech Programme in Petroleum Engineering
 

Applications are invited for admission for 4 Year B.Tech Programme in Petroleum Engineering commencing in July 2009.

Eligibility:

• have a minimum academic qualification of 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• should appear in AIEEE 2009 examination being conducted by CBSE on 26th April, 2009.
• submit a separate application to School of Petroleum Technology in the prescribed Application Form.

Application procedure:

A candidate will have to apply in the prescribed School of Petroleum Technology Application Form. The Application Form will be made available through the following channels:

• At the selected branches of Axis Bank (Formerly UTI Bank) as given below, by paying Rs.1000/-

• Sending a demand draft of Rs. 1000/- in favour of "Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University" Payable at Ahmedabad.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Last date of submission of Forms:14th May, 2009
Last date of Issue of application form :11th May, 2009

Selection Process :

Admission to the 2009 batch of 4 Year B Tech Programme will be based on the All India Merit Rank in AIEEE 2009 (All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2009), which is going to be conducted by CBSE on 26th April 2009. Therefore, only those candidates who are appearing in AIEEE 2009 can apply for this programme.

The short-listed candidates, based on the All India Ranking of AIEEE 2009, will be called for counselling at School of Petroleum Technology Campus and will be offered admission in order of their merit (based on the AIEEE 2009 ranking).
