All-India Common Entrance Test-09 (AICET-09) for admission to MBBS / BDS courses

Dr. D. Y. Patil University, Sant Tukaram Nagar, Pimpri, Pune, Maharashtra - 411 018, has invited applications for the All-India Common Entrance Test-09 (AICET-09) to be held on 31.05.2009 (Sunday), from 11 am to 2 pm at Delhi, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur & Pune, for admission to MBBS / BDS courses in Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune and Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital, Pimpri, Pune.

Applicant should have passed Std. XII (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, securing 50 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology together (40% marks for reserved categories). Those appearing at Std XII exam are also be eligible. Applicant should be 17 years of age on or before 31.12.2009.

Information Brochures can be obtained from the University office on payment of Rs.500/- in Cash or D.D. It can be obtained by Post, by sending a request letter along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- drawn on any Nationalized Bank, in favour of 'Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil University', payable at Pune. It can also be downloaded from http://www.dypatiluniversity.org/aicet09/notification.html. 
The downloaded form should be submitted along with a Demand Draft of Rs.2100/- (Form Fee + Test Fee + Postal Charges).
