How To Apply:
The bulletin of Information along with Application form for all the above courses can be obtained from the office of Dr B R Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research, University of Delhi, North Campus, Delhi-110007 on all working days (Monday to Friday) from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm against Demand Draft of Rs. 800/- for General and Rs. 250/- for SC/ST. If required by Post, send a Demand Draft of Rs. 850/- for General and Rs. 300/- for SC/ST. The draft should be made in favour of the "Director, Dr B R Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research" and should be sent along with an application on plain paper including the name and address (with pin code) of the applicant, in block letters. Application forms can also be downloaded from our website www.acbrdu.edu. The request for application form by mail must reach the office of the Director, on or before April 30, 2009. The last date for sale of bulletin is May 8, 2009. The last date for receipt of completed application form at ACBR is May 15, 2009.
Admission Test: Admission Test for MSc-PhD and MSc Degree Courses will be held on Saturday, June 6th, 2009 at 09:00 a.m. The interview and group discussion for candidates qualifying the entrance test will be held on Sunday, June 7th, 2009 from 9:00 am onward. The admission test will have multiple choice questions, in all the areas as given above, at the Undergraduate level.
Summer Undergraduate Research Programme (SURP) and summer out Reach Program (SOP) of 8 weeks duration is scheduled between June - July 2009. Senior Under-Graduate and Post Graduate students are considered. The programme consists of 1-2 hours of lecture followed by project work under the supervision of faculty members. Interested students can send an application along with a copy of Bio-Data and a Demand Draft of Rs.250/- in favour of the "Director, Dr B R Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research" latest by 30th April 2009.
Last date of Receiving completed application forms is 15th May 2009

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research (ACBR) is dedicated to research and postgraduate education in Biomedical Sciences. Founded in March 1991, on the occasion of the birth centenary of Baba Saheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Government of India established an Institute of Biomedical Research at the University of Delhi under the leadership of Prof. Ramesh Chandra, which is rapidly becoming a source of major scientific innovations in the understanding, treatment, and prevention of diseases. The institute also serves as a prototype of postdoctoral training - a scientific centre where young scientists at the start of their research career can gain the skills and insights required in their chosen fields
