Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MOFPI) has decided to administer the implementation of scheme of Setting up / Upgradation of Quality Control / Food Testing Laboratories through Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR). Accordingly, ICAR will receive, process and sanction the projects received for setting up / upgradation of Food Testing Laboratories w.e.f. 01.04.2012 (2012-13).
Interested and eligible organizations / institutions (such as Central / State Government and its organizations / universities including Deemed Universities, all other implementing agencies/ private sector organizations) may submit their applications to the following Nodal Officers of ICAR w.e.f. 01.04.2012 (2012-13):
