Management Aptitude NMAT Test (NMAT-2013)

School of Business Management, SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai has invited applications for Management Aptitude NMAT Test (NMAT-2013) for admission to the following courses:

1. MBA
2. MBA Banking
3. MBA Capital Market
4. MBA HR
5. MBA Pharmaceutical Management
6. PGDM - Bangalore campus
7. PGDM - Hyderabad campus

Eligibility Criteria:


The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

All candidates who complete the test registration, pay the test fee within the time specified and follow the published test rules, may sit for the NMAT. It is the responsibility of the candidate to understand the eligibility requirements of NMIMS before deciding to register for the NMAT. If a candidate registers for the test and then determines that they are not eligible for admission to NMIMS or its programs, no request for registration fee refund will be entertained.

Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
The candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the respective University / Institution awarding the degree.
hose candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT eligible to apply.

MBA HR - Selection process is separate
Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
The candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the respective University / Institution awarding the degree.
Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT eligible to apply.

MBA Pharmaceutical Management - Selection process is separate
Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical doctors MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BSc and MSc in Biotechnology from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt. Post Graduate degree in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply.
The candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the respective University  / Institution awarding the degree .
Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT eligible to apply.
Candidates with BTech & BE in Bio Tech & Bio - Medical are also eligible to apply.
Candidates presently working in Pharmaceutical Companies for more than a year are preferred.

PGDM – Bangalore campus
PGDM – Hyderabad campus

The schedule & registration charges for NMAT is as under :
Last date for registration: Tuesday, 25th September, 2012

Registration Charges:    
Rs.1650/- for normal registration for either MBA Full Time - Mumbai Campus or PGDM.
Rs. 2000/- for both MBA Full Time - Mumbai Campus and PGDM.
Late Registration: Wednesday, 26th September, 2012 to Thursday, 4th October, 2012

Late Registration Charges:     
Rs. 2150/- for late registration for either MBA Full Time Mumbai Campus or PGDM.
Rs. 2500/- for both MBA Full Time - Mumbai Campus and PGDM.

The mode of payment will be as under:
1. Credit card or
2. Cash at bank or
3. Demand Draft


Modes of Payment
The test fee is INR 1650 if a candidate chooses to opt for one program and INR 2000 if the candidate opts for both the programs. Candidates can pay for the registration via demand draft, debit or credit card or can deposit cash at designated AXIS bank branches.
If paying by demand draft, the candidate should make the demand draft in the name of “SVKM's NMIMS” and courier it to:-

The NMAT-2013 will be administered across eighteen locations within India. The locations are:
North: Chandigarh, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow
West: Ahmedabad, Mumbai
South: Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad
Central: Allahabad, Bhopal, Indore, Bhilai
East: Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Kolkata, Patna
Some cities will have multiple test centers to choose from.
The NMAT-2013 will not be offered at any international location.




Relevant Dates:
Scheduling: Thursday, 19th July, 2012 to Friday, 5th October, 2012
Rescheduling: Thursday, 19th July, 2012 to Tuesday, 17th December, 2012 (Rs. 800/- per reschedule)
Test Delivery: Thursday, 11th October, 2012 Wednesday, 19th December, 2012
Retake Scheduling: Thursday, 11th October, 2012 to Monday, 17th December, 2012 (Rs. 1650/-)
