 Applications are invited for admission to M.Tech degree courses in the University Departments 

of University of Kerala for 2012 admission. 

Courses for which applications are invited: 

1. M.Tech degree course in Electronics & Communication (Optoelectronics & Optical Communication) 

in Department of Optoelectronics, University of Kerala- Total intake- 18. 

2. M.Tech degree course in Computer Science (with Specialization in Digital Image Computing) in 

Department of Computer Science, University of Kerala-(Total intake- 18

. 

3. M.Tech degree course in Technology Management in Department of Future Studies, University of 

Kerala- Total intake- 15. 

Eligibility:

Optoelectronics & Optical Communication:

At least a second class BE / BTech or equivalent degree with 55% marks in Electronics / Electrical and Electronics / Electronics and Communication Engineering, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation or MSc Degree in Physics / Applied Physics / Electronic Science or Electronics of the University of Kerala or equivalent. Minimum marks in the qualifying examination for the SC / ST candidates are 50%.

Computer Science (with Specialization in Digital Image Computing):

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology with at least 55% marks in one of the following branches: Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering from the University of Kerala or equivalent recognized degree of a recognized University.

OR

First Class Master’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Application from the University of Kerala or equivalent recognized degree of a recognized University.

Technology Management:

BTech Degree or equivalent in any branch of Engineering / Technology with at least 55% marks from any of the recognized Universities in India.

The filled up application for the courses should reach the respective Department office on or 
before 25-07-2012.
