BTech/ MBA / MCA Admission Notice 2013-2014

Applications on prescribed form are invited by Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur, H.P from the eligible willing candidates for admission to the following courses for the academic session 2013-14.

1. BTech (1 year) Direct Entry

2. BTech (2nd year) Under Lateral Entry Scheme.

3. MBA / MCA

Criteria of Admission:

1. BTech (1 year) Direct Entry - On the basis of merit of rank / score obtained in JEE Main-2013.

2. BTech (2nd year) Under Lateral Entry Scheme - On the basis of merit of marks obtained in Diploma.

3. MBA / MCA - On the basis merit of score obtained by the applicant in the State Level Common Entrance Examination conducted by H.P. University, Shimla.

Applications:

Separate Prospectus-cum-Information Brochure of BTech, & MBA / MCA will be available from 17.06.2013 in the following institutions:

1. H.P. Technical University, Gandhi Chowk, Hamirpur (H.P.).

2. Government Polytechnics, Sundernagar, Kangra, Ambota, Millennium Chamba, Banikhet and Pragatinagar, Distt, Shimla.

3. Govt. College of Pharmacy, Rohru, Distt. Shimla (H.P.).

4. Govt. I.T.I., Shimla, Solan, Nalagarh, Nahan, Bilaspur, Mandi, Shamshi, Shahpur, Una and Palampur.

The prospectus can also be obtained by post by making a written request to the Registrar, H.P. Technical University, Hamirpur accompanied by bank draft for all categories drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, H.P. Technical University, Hamirpur payable at Hamirpur (H.P.). No request for obtaining the prospectus through post will be entertained after 10.7.2013 for BTech and 25.06.2013 for MBA / MCA. The candidate should read the instructions given in the prospectus carefully and submit the application form complete in all respects in the office of the Registrar, H.P. Technical University, Hamirpur (H.P).
