Online applications are invited by Directorate of Distance Education University of Kashmir, Srinagar from the eligible candidates for admission to the below mentioned programmes (Through Distance Mode) for the academic session 2013

1. MA English

2. MA / MSc Mathematics

3. MA Urdu

4. MA Economics

5. MCom

6. MA Education

7. LL.B (Academic)

8. PG Diploma in Home Science

9. PG Diploma in Computer Applications

10. PG Diploma in Tourism Management

11. PG Diploma in Business Administration

12. P.G Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship

13. PG Diploma in Cyber Law

14. PG Diploma in Web Designing

15. Certificate Course in Kashmiri

Eligibility:

1. MA English:

The candidate must have passed graduation under (10+2+3) pattern with English Literature as one of the subjects and having secured at least 40% marks at graduation level from the University of Kashmir or from any other recognized University.

2. MA / MSc Mathematics:

The candidate must have passed BA / BSc examination under (10+2+3) pattern with Mathematics as one of the subjects and having secured at least 40% marks at graduation level from the University of Kashmir or from any other recognized University.

3. MA Urdu:

The candidate must have passed BA Examination under (10+2+3) pattern with Urdu as one of the subjects and having secured at least 40% marks at graduation level from the University of Kashmir or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.

4. MA Economics:

The candidate must have passed bachelor’s degree under (10+2+3) pattern with Economics as one of the subjects or BA LL.B (Integrated) or BBA / BCom / BSc (math or statistics ) (or) BSc Agriculture (or) ICS / CA / ICWA having secured at least 40% marks at graduation level from University of Kashmir or from any other recognized University / Institute.

5. MCom:

B.Com under (10+2+3) pattern BBA / BBM / BBS or BA / BSc with PG Diploma in Accountancy / Cost Accountancy with at least 40% marks.

6. MA Education:

The candidate must have passed graduation under (10+2+3) pattern with Education as one of the subjects and having secured at least 40% marks at graduation level from the University of Kashmir or from any other recognized University. Candidates having BEd with at least 40% marks are also eligible for MA Education.

7. LL.B (Academic):

Graduate in any discipline passed from the University of Kashmir or from any other recognized University / Institute.

8. PG Diploma in Home Science:

The candidate must have passed graduation under (10+2+3) pattern, having secured at least 40% marks from University of Kashmir or any other examination recognized by the University of Kashmir as equivalent thereto.

9 PG Diploma in Computer Applications:

The candidate must have passed graduation under (10+2+3) pattern, having secured at least45% Marks from University of Kashmir or any other examination recognized by the University of Kashmir as equivalent thereto.

10. PG Diploma in Tourism Management:

The candidate must have passed graduation in any discipline under (10+2+3) pattern, having secured at least 40% marks from University of Kashmir or any other examination recognized by University of Kashmir as equivalent thereto.

11. PG Diploma in Business Administration:

The Candidate must have passed graduation in any discipline under (10+2+3) pattern, having secured at least 40% marks from University of Kashmir or any other examination recognized by the university of Kashmir as equivalent thereto.

12. PG Diploma in Business Entrepreneurship:

The Candidate must have passed graduation in any discipline under 10+2+3 pattern with at least 40% marks from university of Kashmir or any other examination recognized by University of Kashmir as equivalent thereto.

13. PG Diploma in Cyber Law:

The qualification of the candidate must be:

(i) Graduate in any discipline with (10+2+3) pattern.

(ii) Any Law graduate / LL.B (Professional).

(iii) Possessing any other qualification / degree which are recognized by the University of Kashmir as equivalent thereto.

14. PG Diploma in Web Designing:

The qualification of the candidate must be:

(i) Graduate in any discipline (under 10+2+3 Scheme)

(ii) Passed any equivalent examination of any University recognized by the University of Kashmir as equivalent thereto.

(iii) The candidate seeking admission to PG Diploma in Web Designing course (through Distance Mode) must have secured at least 45% marks at the qualifying level.

15. Certificate Course in Kashmiri:

Candidate seeking admission to Certificate Course in Kashmiri must have passed 10th Class from recognized Board/Institution.

Visit http://www.kashmiruniversity.net  or http://www.ddeku.edu.in  and click PG admissions 2013 (Distance Mode).

Deposit the prescribed fee of Rs.200/- at any branch of J & K Bank on the slip which shall be automatically generated with the pre-filled form against the Account Number: 0007010100002622 payable at J & K Bank, Hazratbal.

The candidates shall submit the hard copy of pre-filled application form and original fee paid copy of Bank Slip along with attested Photostat copy of marks certificate of qualifying examinations and Category Certificate, Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) at: Directorate of Distance Education, University of Kashmir.
