ADMISSION NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from the candidates for admission to the Basic One Year Training courses in Electrical & Electronics group of trades under " Restructured Pattern of Craftsmen Training Scheme" for the year 2013-2014 commencing from September 2013 at this Institute. The admission for the above trades will be made purely on merit basis based on Educational Qualification as shown in para-2-below. Further, on successful completion of the above one year training course, the trainees could specialize in any one of the following modules (one year duration) in their II year Course. There by the total duration of the Course is two Years.

Modules in 2 nd Year

1. Industrial Electrician

2. Industrial Electronics Control

3. Audio Video Electronics              

4. Process Control Instrumentation.

5. Automobile Electrical & Electronics Systems.

6. Refrigeration & Air-conditioning systems.

2. Educational Qualificatipn:-

A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent examination with the subjects of science (Physics & Chemistry) and Mathematics, from a recognized School/lnstitution/Collcge.

3. Age As on 01-09-2013. 14 years to be completed. No upper age limit.

4. Fees:-

1. Tuition fess of Rs.150/- per month per trainee for general candidate & Rs. 50/- per month for SC/ST candiates 2. Caution deposit (Refundable) Rs.250/- }for the entire period 3. Library deposit (Refundable) Rs.25/-   } of training This may be revised from time to time according to Orders from Govt, of India, DGET Headquarters at New Delhi.

5. Accommodation:

Limited Hostel facility is available only for male students at this Institute Campus and the Hostel Rent will be Rs.10/- per month/per head . This may be rcv.sed from time to nine according to Orders from Govt, of India. DGET Headquarters at New Delhi.

6. Stipend & Scholarship:-       Paid as per DGET norms.

7. Reservation:-

Seals are reserved for women candidates. SC. ST. OBC , Physically handicapped and Ex-Servicemen as per Govt, of India rules.

8. Issue of Application Forms -

Prescribed application forms can be had from the Office of the principal. Model Industrial Training Institute. Govindapuram (PO). Calicut . Pin-673 016 on payment of Rs.25/-per application. Those who are desirous to get an application form by post may send with a Self addressed envelope (Size: 110 x 240mm), affixing a postal stamp of Rs.5/- on it, along with Uncrossed Indian Postal order for a value of Rs.25/- drawn in favour of principal. Model I.T.I, Calicut payable at the Head Post Office, Calicut.

9. Registration of Application Forms: -

Duly filled in applications arc to be registered at this Office on payment of a Registration fee of Rs.SO/- in cash/in the form of Uncrossed Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of the Principal, Model IT.I.,Calicut only as same as stated at Para-8 above. Filled applications to be sent/submitted at the following Address: PRINCIPAL,

Govindapuram (P.O), Calicut -673 016 KERALA STATE. Phone:(0495)2742500 No Crossed Postal Order / Money Order / Demand Draft etc will be accented

10. Selected trainees have to give the affidavit as per the norms of DGE&T.

11. The last date for receipt of filled application at this Institute is 26-07-2013

up to 5 P.M. I .ate receipt of application will not be entertained.
