M.Sc Bioinformatics Admissions 2011-2012
Applications have been invited by Allahabad University for admission to Tenth Batch of Credit-system based Professional M.Sc in Bioinformatics Course of Academic Year 2011-12.
Admission will be done on the basis of an Entrance Examination (2 written papers) and an Interview. The course fee is Rs. 14,000 per semester plus University Fee. Applicants with B.Sc. with at least 55% marks in any of following combinations (a) Chem Zoo Bot (b) Chem Zoo Biochem (c) Chem Bot Biochem (d) Phy Maths Chem (e) Phy Maths Comp Sc (f) Phy Maths Stats are eligible.
Students of B.Sc (Applied Science) of Alld. Univ. and of Biology stream with Microbiol Biotech Cell Biol Struct.Biol Biophys are also eligible. Those awaiting their B.Sc results can also apply.
Application forms and admission brochure can be had by paying Rs. 500 in the form of a Bank Draft favoring “Coordinator, Bioinformatics Program, Allahabad University”, payable at Allahabad. Application forms by mail will be sent after receipt of Bank Draft of Rs 500 with a self-addressed envelope. Application forms can also be downloaded from the websites : http://www.alldunivpio.org and www.allduniv.ac.in and submitted alongwith the prescribed fee and must reach the Coordinator latest by 4th June 2011.
