Applications have been invited by International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Hyderabad for admission to the PG and Research Programmes of Academic Year 2014-15.

COURSES:

1. M Tech :

(i)  Computer Science and Engineering

(ii) Computer Science and Information Security

(iii) VLSI & Computer Engineering

(iv)  Computer Aided Structural Engineering

(v) Bioinformatics

(Eligibility:  All who have completed (or going to complete by July 2014) BE/BTech in Engg(any branch including CS/ ECE EE/Civil/ Inst./Biotech.) or B.Arch. or Master's degree in Science/ Maths/IT/ICT/Computer Science or MCA)

2. Research Programmes: MS by Research

(i)  Computer Science and Engineering (all areas)

(ii) Electronics & Communication Engineering (all areas)

(Eligibility: All who are eligible to apply for MTech programme, are also eligible to apply for PhD programme;  All who have completed (or going to complete by July 2014) ME/M.Tech. in Engg;

All who have completed (or going to complete by July 2014) masters degree in Social Sciences or Humanities are eligible to apply only for Ph.D programme with "*" (Spatial Informatics, Cognitive Sciences and Exact Humanities))

ADMISSION:

Admission to PG programmes will be on the basis of the performance at the Post-Graduate And PhD Entrance Examination (PGEE 2014) to be conducted on  13 April, 2014 and an interview to be held at Hyderabad.

HOW TO APPLY

All applications should be submitted online in PGEE portal

To submit the application, a candidate has to complete two registration forms: Pre-Registration Form and Main Registration Form.

Pre-registration can be done at link: http://admissions.iiit.ac.in/PGEE/portal/pre/

After filling the Pre-Registration form, the candidate receives an E-Mail which contains the link and identification code. The link should be opened in a browser by supplying the identification code to fill in the Main Registration Form.

Applicants can apply for one or more programmes in the same form by indicating choices. The application fee is Rs. 2000/- for one programme and Rs. 50/- extra for each additional programme applied for. Application fee can be paid either through Credit Card or through Demand Draft. Demand Draft should be in favor of IIIT, Hyderabad.

Printout of the application and DD etc should be sent to the Chairman, PG Admissions, IIIT, Gachibowli, Hyderabad-500032, Andhra Pradesh.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Last Date for the submission of applications through the PGEE Portal: 2nd April 2014 (Extended Date)

Last Date for the receipt of application fee(DD) at IIIT Hyderabad: 2ndApril 2014  (Extended Date)

Admit Cards will be made available for download in PDF format: 6 April, 2014

Date of the Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE 2014) : 13 April, 2014
