Engineering Services Examination 2014

A combined competitive examination for recruitment to the Services/posts mentioned in para 2 below will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on 20th June, 2014 in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) in the Gazette of India Extraordinary dated March 22, 2014.

Candidates can apply online only by visiting www.upsconline.nic.in.  Recruitment on the results of the examination will be made to the Services/ Posts under the following categories:

Category I—Civil Engineering

Category II—Mecahnical Engineering

Category III—Electrical Engineering

Category IV—Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 582 including 24 PH vacancies.

The Online Applications can be filled upto April 21, 2014 till 11.59 PM after which the link will be disabled.

The eligible candidates will be issued an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admission certificate will be made available on www.upsc.gov.in  for downloading by candidates. No Admission Certificate will be sent by post.
