Institute of Management Sciences, University of Lucknow, Lucknow, UP, has invited applications for admission to its 2-year, Full Time MBA Programmes for 2010-11 academic year. The Programmes offered are MBA, MBA in Corporate Management, Finance & Control, Internationla Business, Management Science, Rural Development & Management, Agribusiness, E-business, HR&IR, Marketing, Retail Management and Tourism

Applicant should have a Bachelor's Degree under the 10+2+3 system in any field of study, with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate, awarded by a University or Institute incorporated by law and recognized by the University of Lucknow. Those completing their final examination of the Bachelor's Degree by June 30, 2010 can also apply as provisional candidates, subject to submission of proof of passing the Under Graduation Degree with stipulated percentage of marks by July 16, 2010.

Selection of applicants to be called for counseling will be based on the performance in CAT to be conducted by the Indian Institute of Management from 28th November to 7th December 2009 (Refer to www.catiim.in for details of CAT), with suitable sectional cut-off depending upon relative performance in written test. Reservation of seats for each Programme will be as per University / U.P. Government rules.

Those desirous of admission, in addition to taking CAT, have to apply separately to the University of Lucknow online at http://www.lkouniv.ac.in/mba2010/register.html as per the instructions there.

At the time of Registration, applicant should have CAT Registration Number, CAT site code, Photo in JPG format and an active Email ID (to which login information is to be sent). At the time of Registration, a Bank challan wil be generated using which, fee of Rs.900/- for General and OBC Category (Rs.600/- for SC/ST categories), has to be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India. The details of fee deposited will have to be subsequently provided at the site. Registration will not be considered complete till the details of fee deposited are provided.

After submission of the application online, a copy of the completed application form along with Copy of CAT admit card, Copy of form fee deposit receipt and Self attested copy of Category /subcategory certificate (if applicable) issued as stipulated, should be sent to 'Director, MBA Admissions 2010-11, Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), University of Lucknow, Second Campus, Off Sitapur Road, Lucknow, U.P- 226021' by Speed Post to reach there latest by December 11, 2009.
