The  National Power Training Institute, Nangal, Punjab (Phone:  01887 – 220573) has invited applications for admission to the Postgraduate Diploma Course in Hydro Power Plant Engineering. The main  objective  is to develop manpower for Indian Power Sector. The course  authorizes the engineer to operate & maintain Hydro Power Plants.

Eligibility
 
Degree holders in  Mechanical  / Electrical  Engineering  or equivalent  with   60% marks are eligible to apply. Selection is based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Upper age limit is 27 years as on 2.11.2009. Total seats- 30.

How to Apply
 
Download  application form and other details from  the website  www.nptibadarpur.co.in or  www.ntpi.nic.in. Applications on plain paper along with the DD of  Rs. 700/- in favour of NPTI HPTC, Nangal  payable at  Naya Nangal and two photographs should reach the Director, National Power Training Institute, HPTC, Nangal Township, Nangal Dist, Ropar – 140124, Punjab.
 
Last date  of  receipt of  completed application is 12th October 2009.

 

This course will start   on 2nd November 2009. Fee for non sponsored  candidate is Rs. 1 Lakh and 10 thousands payable in two instalments.  NPTI maintain close  linkage   with power  utilities and placement assistants will provide after successful completion of this course.
