Applications have been invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Medical PG Courses (MD/MS/Diploma) and Residency in Medical Physics for 2010 at Christian Medical College, Vellore.
Candidates who have qualified for the M.B.B.S Degree of the Madras University or any other University recognised as equivalent by the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University and Indian Medical Council and have completed/complete their compulsory rotating residential internship and obtained full registration before 15.05.2010 are eligible to apply for the Postgraduate Degree and Diploma courses.
Candidates who have qualified for a Postgraduate Diploma may also apply for the Postgraduate Degree (MS/MD) course in the same subject. Post Diploma candidates with a Diploma in the same subject need to undergo 2 years of training for the Degree. Those who complete a DCP will not have this benefit for MD Pathology. Candidates currently pursuing a Postgraduate training Programme and who complete the same by the 15th May 2010 only will be eligible to apply.
For Residency in Medical Physics, applicant should have MSc Degree in Medical Physics or a Post-Graduate Diploma in Hospital Physics (Dip R.P) from BARC, Mumbai. Details of the subjects, seats, eligibility criteria etc can be seen at http://home.cmcvellore.ac.in/admissions/admin.htm
Admission Bulletin can be downloaded from this link. Application forms can be accessed on-line at http://home.cmcvellore.ac.in/admissions and submitted with a basic administrative fee of Rs.500/-. Payments can be made by way of DD/Challan.
Application from, Admission Bulletin and Prospectus can also be had from the 'Office of the Registrar, CMC, Thorapadi, PO, Vellore-2' by sending a request for the same, stating the full postal address with Pin Code, telephone number and e-mail address if available, along with a payment of Rs.500/- by way of Demand Draft favouring 'CMC Vellore Association A/C', payable at Vellore or by way of Challan (Original to be sent) towards the remittance made in favour of 'FC-CMC- V', at any branch of ICICI Bank.
Applications are also available at Bagayam, Vellore HO and CMC Town Campus Post Offices at Vellore. Filled in Applications should reach 'Office of the Registrar, Christian Medical College, Vellore - 632 002', latest by 12 noon on 31st October 2009.
Entrance Test for selection will be held at Bangalore, Chennai, Chandigarh, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Puducherry, Trivandrum and Vellore on 28.11.2009. Special Tests and Interviews for those short-listed will be held at Vellore on 5.1.2010.
Courses will commence on 1.3.2010.
