ML/ PG Diploma/ Distance Law Courses Admissions 2009-2010

The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, 'Poompozhil', No.5, Dr.DG.S.Dhinakaran Salai, Chennai-600 028, has notified the admission to M.L. Degree [Semester-CBCS] Course, P.G. Diploma [Evening] Course and Distance Education Courses for 2009-10.

For Admission to M.L. Degree, the eligibility is a pass in B.L. Degree 3/5 year examinations with 45% marks in aggregate under new regulations or with 40% marks under old regulations, wherever applicable.

The specializations offered are

(i) Business Law

(ii) Constitutional Law & Human Rights

(iii) Intellectual Property Law

(iv) International Law & Organisation

(v) Environmental Law & Legal Order

(vi) Criminal Law & Criminal Justice Administration and

(vii) M.L. Capital Markets

 

 

P.G. Diploma [Evening] Courses, is to be conducted on the premises of the University, in the following disciplines

(i) Business Law [PGDBL]

(ii) Information Technology Law [PGDITL]

(iii) Intellectual Property Laws [PGDIPL]

(iv) Environmental Law [PGDEL] and

(v) Consumer  Education [PGDCE]

Graduate/Post-Graduate and those pursuing other Degree courses may also apply. Starting of the course will depend upon the number of applications received.

Applications are also invited for admission to Distance Education Mode to be conducted on the premises of this University in

 

(i) Business Law [PGDBL]

(ii) Environmental Law (PGDEL)

(iii) Information Technology Law [PGDITL]

(iv) Intellectual Property Law [PGDIPL]

(v) Labour Law ( PGDLL) and

(vi) Human Rights & Duties Education  [PGDHR & DE]

Graduate/Post-Graduate and students who are pursuing other degree courses may also apply.

For admission to six months Certificate Course in Documentation, applicant should have passed HSC.

Selection will be made on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying examinations and interview. State Government rules relating to reservation shall apply.

Application forms can be had from the Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, Chennai. 

The cost of the application form shall be paid by way of 'Demand Draft' obtained from any Nationalised Bank in favour of 'The Registrar, The Tamil Nadu Dr.Ambedkar Law University, payable at Chennai.  In respect of Distance Education courses, the Demand Draft is to be drawn in favour of the 'Registrar  A/c (DDE), The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University' payable at Chennai.

Cost of Application Form for ML Degree course is Rs.400/- (Rs 200/- for SC/ST) if obtained in person and Rs. 450/- (Rs.250 for SC/ST) if required by post.

Cost of Application Form for PG Diploma (Evening) Courses and Distance Education Mode is Rs.200/- (Rs 150/- for SC/ST) if obtained in person and Rs. 230/- (Rs.180/- for SC/ST) if obtained by post.

For Certificate Course, it is Rs.150/- (Rs.125/- for SC/ST), if obtained in person and Rs.180/- (Rs.155/- for SC/ST) if required by post.

Application forms will be available till 23.10.2009.
