B.Sc Information Technology, B.Sc Computer Technology, Five Year M.Sc Software Engineering and Two Year M.Sc Computer Technology Courses Admissions 2010-2012

 

 

Coimbatore Institute of Technology, has invited applications for admission to B.Sc Information Technology, B.Sc Computer Technology, Five Year M.Sc Software Engineering and Two Year M.Sc Computer Technology Courses at the Institute.

For admission to B.Sc Information Technology and B.Sc Computer Technology, applicant should have a pass in HSC with minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics and Physics or Computer Science for OC, 55 % for BC, 50 % for MBC/DNC and Pass for SC/ST.Application has to be submitted within 10 days of publication of +2 results. Spot admission is given for B.Sc Courses on first come first served basis for candidates with minimum aggregate of 90% marks.

For admission to Five Year M.Sc Software Engineering, applicant should have an excellent academic record in HSC/CBSE/ISE or equivalent stream with above 80% except for SC/ST with Mathematics and Physics/Computer Science as two subjects of study. Selection will be based on marks in the qualifying examination, entrance test and interview.

For admission to M.Sc Computer Technology Course, applicant should have a first class in B.Sc Computer Science/Information Technology/ Computer Technology/Software Engineering/BCA.

 

Last date for applying is 15.6.2010.

Separate Application has to be submitted for each course. Cost of application form is Rs.500/-. Application can be had from the Principal or can be downloaded form http://cit.edu.in/ in which case the filled application has to be submitted with a DD for Rs.500/- drawn in favour of 'The Principal, Coimbatore Institute of Technology', payable at Coimbatore.
