M.A, M.S.W and P.G DIPLOMA programmes Admission 2010-2012

 

Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady, Kerala has invited applications to the M.A, M.S.W and P.G DIPLOMA programmes for the academic year 2010-11 in the main Centre and its various regional centres. Courses and respective centers of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit are as follows:

1.Main Centre, Kalady : a) M.A.- Malayalam, Hindi, English, History, Philosophy, Music, Dance (Bharathanatyam and Mohiniyattom), Theatre, Comparative Literature & Linguistics, Sanskrit Sahitya, Sanskrit Vedanta, Sanskrit  Vyakarana, Sanskrit  Nyaya, Sanskrit General, Psychology, Vedic Studies, Kerala Responsible Ayurvedic Tourism Educational Resource (KRATER) and Gender, Ecology and Dalit Studies. b)M.S.W. c)P.G. Diploma in Translation and Office proceedings in Hindi.

2. Regional Centre, Thiruvananthapuram: M.A.- Malayalam, Hindi, English, History, Sanskrit Sahitya, Sanskrit Vedanta, Sanskrit Vyakarana and Sanskrit Nyaya.

3. Regional Centre, Panmana: M.A.- Malayalam, Hindi, and Sanskrit Vedanta.

4. Regional Centre, Ettumanoor: M.A.- Malayalam, Hindi and Sanskrit Sahitya.

5. Regional Centre, Thuravoor: a)M.A.- Malayalam, Sanskrit Sahitya and History b)M.S.W.

6. Regional Centre, Thrissur: M.A.- Malayalam, Hindi, Sanskrit Sahitya and Sanskrit Nyaya.

7. Regional Centre, Tirur: a)   M.A.- Malayalam, Hindi, History, Arabic, Sanskrit Sahitya and Sanskrit Vyakarana. b)   M.S.W.

8. Regional Centre, Koyilandy: M.A.- Urdu, Malayalam, Sanskrit Sahitya and Sanskrit Vedanta.

9. Regional Centre, Payyannur: a)M.A.- Malayalam, Hindi, History, Philosophy, Sanskrit Sahitya, Sanskrit Vyakarana and Sanskrit Vedanta. b)M.S.W.

Candidates having a degree of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit or a degree recognised by this University under the 10+2+3 pattern are eligible to apply for the courses. Admissions will be based on the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination/Interview to be conducted in June 2010. Candidates have to posess Bachelor's Degree in the concerned subject in case of PG Course in Music and Dance.  Regular students who have passed the Part I & II and appeared for the final year/semester Degree Examination in the year 2010 are also eligible to apply for the courses.

Applications for the courses can be obtained from the offices of the Directors of the Main & Regional Centres on payment of the prescribed fee of Rs. 100/- (Rs. 250/- for M.S.W.) payable in cash. For SC/ST candidates, fee to be paid upon the production of proof are Rs. 25/- and Rs.50/- respectively.

Application forms can also be downloaded from the website :www.ssus.ac.in, and in such cases, Demand Draft towards the cost of application form payable at Union Bank of India, Kalady Branch drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady are to be accomponied with the filled-in application form. Duly filled-in applications are to be submitted to the Registrar, Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady P.O., Ernakulam District, Pin 683 574 and the last date for the same is 26.05.2010.
