MBBS Admissions 2010-2012

 

JSS Medical College, Mysore, under JSS University, JSS Medical Institutions Campus, Sri Shivarathreeshwara Nagara, Mysore, Karnataka- 570015, has invited applications for admission to the MBBS course at the Institute for  2010-11.

Applicant should have passed the qualifying examination equivalent to PUC or 10+2 with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional and English as one of the main study languages with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and compulsory pass in English. Applicant should also get 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together at COMEDK UGET 2010. For SC/ST/Category-1 and OBC candidates, the minimum marks would be 40% both at the Qualifying Examination and UGET 2010.

Selection will be based on the score in COMEDK K UGET 2010. Course allotment will be made through counseling. Prospectus and application form can be downloaded from http://www.jssuni.edu.in/ and submitted with a Demand Draft for Rs.1100/-, drawn in favour of 'JSS University Fee Account', payable at Mysore.

Application forms will  be available from 14th May, 2010.   

Filled application will be received at the University Office with COMEDK UGET 2010 score till 5 pm on 10th July, 2010.  

Merit list will be announced at the website on 19th July, 2010.
