MA (Social Work in Rural Development) Admissions 2010-2012

 

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences has invited applications for admission to MA (Social Work in Rural Development) for the Academic Year, 2010-2012 at School of Rural Development located at Tuljapur Campus, Maharashtra. Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized university, in any discipline is eligible to apply. Selection is based on  Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The completed application form are to be sent along with the TISS copy of the fee challan (Rs. 800 (Processing Fees Rs.750/- for the application and Bank charges Rs. 50/-, deposited in any branch of the State Bank of India) to the Deputy Registrar, School of Rural Development, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Tuljapur, Dist. Osmanabad, Maharashtra OR to Assistant Registrar (Academic), Tata Institute of Social Sciences, V.N. Purav Marg, Deonar, Mumbai - 400 088.

Application forms can be submitted free of cost by SC/ST candidates who are unemployed and whose parents / guardian's annual income is Rs.1,00,000/- or below in the financial year 2008-09/2009-10; however attested true copy of caste/tribes certificate of the competent authority of the Government and income certificate of their parents/guardians issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar or by the competent authority has to be attached for the claim. Last date for submission of completed applications at TISS, Deonar, Mumbai 400 088 or at Tuljapur Campus by hand/by post is June 14, 2010.
