The Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa has invited applications for admission to following first year professional degree courses of session 2012-13 through Common Entrance Test (GCET 2012) and applicable to the Government, Government-aided and un-aided colleges in Goa offering Bachelor’s Degree in the fields of Architecture, Dentistry, Engineering, Medicine (Allopathic & Homoeopathy) and Pharmacy.

Eligibility:
Candidates who have already passed / have appeared or are appearing at HSSC (Std. XII Science) or equivalent examination, before the start of the academic session, are eligible to appear at GCET-12. All candidates desirous of seeking admissions to Degree Courses in Architecture must appear and have a valid score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted on-line by Council of Architecture.
An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry and Homoeopathy must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admission to First Year.

Applications:
Prospectus shall be available at notified places on payment of Rs. 400/- in cash (Extra service charge notified payable to designated branches of notified Bank.)
Outstation candidates can obtain the prospectus and application form by sending request to Director, Directorate of Technical Education, Alto- Porvorim, Goa, 403521 along with a DD of Rs.400/- payable in favour of 'Director of Technical Education' at Panaji.
Candidates may utilize downloaded Application Form A for appearing at GCET-12 and submit the same in person at notified Application Reception Centre as per centre opted, along with a DD of Rs. 400/- (towards the prospectus fee) and the test fee of Rs.550/- by demand draft payable in favour of 'Director of Technical Education' at Panaji - Goa, drawn on any Scheduled Bank and three identical photographs as indicated, and other relevant certificates (self-attested photo copies) to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee.
Completed applications are to reach Chairman, Admission Committee, Directorate of Technical Education, Alto-Porvorim, Bardez, Goa - 403 521 on or before the specified date.

2. Start of receiving of application forms for GCET-12 (FORM A) at Application Reception Centre: 26-03-12 (Mon)
3. Last date for receiving forms for GCET-12 (FORM A) at Application Reception Centre: 05-04-12 (Thu)
4. Last date to collect Admit Card from Application Reception Centre: 05-04-12 (Thu)
5. Dates of GCET-12: 09-05-12(Wed) & 10-05-12(Thu)
6. Result of GCET-12: (Expected) 21-05-12(Mon)
