ADMISSION FOR Ph.D - JUNE 2012
Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) has major research programs in Human, animal and Plant diseases.
Applications are invited from Postgraduates in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, chemical sciences, Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences for our Ph.D program, currently affiliated to University of Kerala.
General category applicants must have a consistent First class academic record, a valid Resarch Fellowship from UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/DST-INSPIRE and should be less than 28 years of age as on June 1 of 2012.
SC/ST candidates with a valid fellowship need to have only 50% marks, will be eligible for age relaxation as per rules, and are exempt from processing fees.
Complete details of the Ph.d program, application procedures and application form are posted on website www.rgcb.res.in
Completed applications along with the required fees may be submitted to the undersigned on or before April 16, 2012.
Names of candidates shortlised for selection interview will be put up on the RGCB website on April 18, 2012 and will also be notified by email.
Selection of candidates will be by interview and Faculty interaction from May 7, 2012.
