VACANCY NOTICE
Applications are invited on plain paper (alongwith attested copies of birth certificate, degrees, mark sheets, experience certificates and list of publications and a recent passport sized photograph) for the temporary post of Sr. Research Fellow (1) at a fixed salary of Rs. 16,000/- p.m. + HRA for 1st and 2nd year and @ Rs. 18,000/- p.m.+ HRA for 3rd year in project entitled C(d) DR-2) “Enhancing livestock production in Punjab through need-based research and development activities” under C-2 Processing of carp fishes into different value added products and byproducts for enhanced economic returns”
Essential Qualifications and eligibility conditions for Sr. Research Fellow:
1. B.F.Sc. B.V.Sc./B.V.Sc.& A.H./ B.Sc. in Food Science & Technology/B.Sc. (Medical)/ B.Sc. (Hons.) in Zoology with minimum OGPA 2.00/4.00 basis or 50% marks
2. M.F.Sc./ M.V.Sc. in Vety. Microbiology/ Vety. Biochemistry/ Livestock Production Technology/ M.Sc. in Fisheries/ Zoology/Food Science & Technology/ Biochemistry/Microbiology/ with minimum OGPA of 3.40/4.00 or OCPA 6.50/10.00 or 65% marks
3. Knowledge of Punjabi upto Matric level
Note: Candidates without knowledge of Punjabi will be considered only when no candidate with knowledge of Punjabi is available.
Desirable: Experience in Fish Post-harvest Technology.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
